Ice Road Truckers

Published by amelia23 under Uncategorized Edit This

Ice Road Truckers came on tonight. Hugh, nicknamed the Polar Bear is running fast. I was really surprised last week when they made him sit in the passenger’s seat. One could tell he was not happy, and this week his trailer was empty, but he had an envelope to deliver. How exciting it must be to be in the truck and go up and down those roads. I am reminded of trips with my dad. It felt like he would take those little hills and leave my tummy at the top. We would laugh and he’d ask if that tickled my tummy. It was so much fun, and I think fondly back to those days.

I would not like to drive on the road they are on this time. To me, the ice would be much more preferred. Alex is back after last year. How sad when he became sick and couldn’t return to finish the year out. But he is back and as jolly as ever. Actually this show is a pleasure to watch because it is just a bunch of, mostly guys, that seem normal. They seem like the next door neighbor that you could actually talk to. No wimpy guys, (they didn’t come back from last season.) Rick and Drew, I don’t know how they made it to the ice roads. Neither one seemed to know how to take care of a truck. I’m sure it it had been their own personal trucks, they would not have done all that crazy driving. Or at least they wouldn’t have done it very often. This year they have a new group. Prayers will surround them as they travel down these roads. Tonight they had a terrible accident and the man was almost run over. Angels were really watching over him because he survived and somehow his truck didn’t hit that gas line.

I found a new website that seems fun. http://www.wikisky.org/If you like stars and planets. I have yet to see what all the links do as there is a lot on that page. Tonight my browser is so slow. Has been that way for a few days now.
