Believing In A Better Day.
Yesterday, I took my kids Christmas looking. We went to Goodwill, the mall, Walmart and uptown. On the way home, we noticed that many of the usual places didn’t decorate. It can’t be because the weather was too cold. We had some very nice 40 degree weather days. Maybe they are feeling the holiday stress also. I can only hope and pray for a miracle to happen. I know that God will provide. He always does if we trust Him and continue to believe. But that is the hard part. Believing when the circumstances around you say otherwise. How do you stand in faith when everything around you is screaming that you have no money coming in. I have never figured that one out, and don’t know if I ever will.
Maybe this year, no matter what is happening around me, I am going to keep my Christmas spirit alive. I’m not doing this for me, but for my kids. They are so precious and important to me. They give me courage to carry on and face each day with determination. I know that my dad, who has gone to be with the Lord, is always by our side, cheering us on, and helping us to succeed.
