I can’t believe it, but I made it to 50 blog posts.  This is almost a land mark for me.  On Saturday, I received some papers on my mom from Social Services.  I guess I thought that since they, the nursing home takes all but 65 dollars of her Social Security checks, that there would be no more paper work.  Okay, I was wrong.

Today, I found a box in my mom’s upstairs that had my things in it.  To my kids, they thought it was dumb junk, but to me, it was my treasure.  It was basically a box of rocks.  I was so happy to find this box.  I had often thought about this particular rock because it reminded me of my dad and hauling gravel.  What a wonderful time that was and sometimes I wish I could go back and have another ride in his truck.  At least the truck is still parked in the yard, so in a sense, I still have it and can dream of happier times.

Watched Deadli est Catch behind the scenes tonight.  It’s hard to believe that tomorrow is their last episode for the season.  What am I going to do with my Tuesday nights???  Next week another of my favorite shows comes to an end and that is the Next FoodNetwork Star.  I hope Jeffrey wins.  I like that other lady, but the guy seems more personable.   I don’t haven’t noticed when 2007’s winner went.   I believe her name is Amy.  I really wanted Jag to win and he would have too if he hadn’t dropped out.  That was the only one I was really disappointed in.    Oh well, I guess someone had to win.

Thank goodness Ice Road Truckers is still on, or there would be almost nothing on that I would like to watch.  But I fear they are close to being at their end of episodes also.
